The Punter's Role

Welcome back to Nothing But Yards blogspot where I'm the host Christian A! Today we are going to get a kick out of punting with some new tips. My friend plays punter(P) position and he is very good at it so he gave me some tips on how to punt the ball the correct way. He told me to always keep my head focused on the ball and be careful not to hold the ball so long or you will get it blocked. You have to ensure that you really get your foot into the ball and kick away to make a line drive punt. To make a sky punt you boot the ball with the curve of your foot and boot it good enough so you get alot of hangtime. But if you do hold the ball for a long time you will get it blocked like I said, so get the right grip on it fast and give it all the leg you have.
